Prenatal Yoga Classes in New York City

Practice yoga and build community with other future parents in Harlem. Prenatal yoga teaches movements and poses to strengthen and tone the muscles and organs needed for labor and delivery and to alleviate common discomforts such as swollen feet, back pain, constipation, and varicose veins.
An emphasis is placed on soothing, relaxing breathwork and meditation, giving you space to connect deeply with your innate wisdom to nurture your baby and to enjoy the miraculous process of pregnancy and birth.
Expectant moms are not meant to go through pregnancy alone, in Harlem Yoga Studio’s prenatal yoga classes, we create a warm safe environment for New York City moms to learn how to take an active role in managing the discomforts of pregnancy.
In our yoga classes you will learn tools that make you feel more ready to give birth and more comfortable and confident during pregnancy. Learn great coping techniques to managing stress, improve sleep, feel more easeful in your body and more ready for parenthood.
At Harlem Yoga Studio our goal is to build community and make you feel welcome, well cared for, calm, and confident with each class. Our prenatal classes are appropriate for women at all stages of pregnancy. Even if you have never practiced yoga before you will feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Yoga prepares you to face the physical demands of labor, birth and new motherhood. No previous yoga experience is necessary to gain the great mind-body benefits of prenatal yoga. Join us in person or online to care of yourself and your baby.
